Balance and Harmony

Balance is an interesting thing. What is it? Where do you find it? How do you get it? Then once you find that beautiful happy medium in life what do you do with it? It sounds so far off. You know it when you see it. It is very attainable though. It is inside all of us if we just stay still.


Often we try too hard in our searches for peace, harmony and freedom in life. We overthink, complicate and stress ourselves beyond where we can see/hear/feel our own best needs. Taking even just a few moments to decompress and unplug from social media, work, family, friends etc and tune in to yourself and nature is vital. This allows us to just be and breathe. Just breathe and listen and be aware of the stillness around us or whatever else may exist. 


Sounds a lot like meditation? It is in a way akin to beginning to meditate. I am just asking you to rest into yourself and breathe and listen for now. Breathe slowly in through your nose filling your abdomen and gently releasing through your mouth emptying your abdomen as you exhale. Belly breathing gently while sitting comfortably feels good and is refreshing. This can bring a little harmony into your day and help realign your energy during times of stress, pain, etc. It can also increase your awareness of self. 


Take time for yourself today to breathe, harmonize, and water up so you are fully hydrated!
